Nicholas Lowe specializes in intellectual property law with an emphasis on copyright, designs, trade marks, and databases.  One of his particular interests is music rights law including songwriters' and composers' contracts, publishing and sub-publishing contracts, performing rights, mechanical rights, internet rights, recordings, production music, and collective administration.  

Admitted as a solicitor in England in 1977 Nicholas Lowe has been an intellectual property law specialist for over 30 years.  He was with two leading London intellectual property firms before he became Head of Legal Services and then Director of Legal and International Affairs at the Performing Right Society (PRS).  He has also been a director of the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong (CASH).
